This Embryology wiki uses an extension that allows a full reference and a link to the original PubMed reference to be inserted into a page by using just the PMID number. (More? Help:Reference Tutorial)

Generating an Automated PubMed Search

The code required to search for "fertilization" publications on PubMed for fertilisation is shown below.

Using References on your Page/Project

The following help page (Help:Reference Tutorial) shows how to cite research/sources on your page if they are listed on the PubMed (Medicine) database.

The code required to add a PubMed citation is shown below.

<ref name="PMIDXXXXX"><pubmed>XXXXX</pubmed></ref>

Just the number proceeded by PMID will also generate a link to the PubMed reference.
