(TGA; Transposition of the Great Vessels) This ultrasound movie shows an abnormality in the outflow tract of the heart. Characterized by aorta arising from right ventricle and pulmonary artery from the left ventricle and often associated with other cardiac abnormalities (e.g. ventricular septal defect). The ultrasound scans back and forth through the outflow tract showing the transposed vessel connection to the ventricles.
