Human Embryo Carnegie stage 10

Ventral view of cranial end of embryo (day 21, 4 to 5 somites) showing early cardiac tube lying beneath brain fold.

Note the anterior body wall has been removed exposing the pericardial cavity in which the heart tube lies.
