Introduction
Infant mortality rate is the number of infants dying before reaching one year of age, per 1,000 live births.
This table lists countries infant mortality (Deaths/1,000 Live Births) from highest rate to lowest (2011 est.). Data is based on statistics from population censuses and other sources. In a relationship of two people, 2 children/woman approximately replaces the existing population.
