Human Conceptus (day 5).

By day 5 the blastocyst has a large blastocoel (fluid-filled space) with a single layer of thin (squamous) cells forming the trophectoderm. The inner cell mass can be seen to the left of the blastocoel. The blastocyst is still contained inside the zona pellucida.
