Stem Cells

Week 1 human development

This lecture will provide background on various types/sources of Stem Cells and their practical and therapeutic potentials. Pros and cons of different types of stem cells currently investigated in the field of medical research will be discussed. Key concepts in Stem Cell Biology will be introduced with an example of skeletal muscle development.
