Human Embryo (CRL 17.5 mm)

The embryo CRL suggests that of Carnegie stage 15 (Week 5, 42 - 44 days, 11 - 14 mm). Note there is great variability in embryo measurements due to changes that occur with fixation. The arrow should also more accurately show CRL rather than greatest length.

The original model stands about 1 m high (therefore x100) and is part of the Blechschmidt Collection.
