Victor Hensen

Victor Hensen (1835 – 1924) was a German zoologist (planktology) who in birds identified "Hensen's node" and "Hensen's line", associated with the process of gastrulation. In hearing he also identified "Hensen duct" (Canal of Henson; Hensen's cells, Hensen's stripe).
