Somite Development - Sclerotome, Dermatome and Myotome
The dermomyotome then dorsally forms the dermotome (forms dermis) and ventrally the myotome (forms skeletal muscle).
Note - the cartoons show just the embryo righthand side mesoderm development (the same events occur on the lefthand side).
