- C - conceptus embedded in the superficial endometrium
- G - well-developed endometrial glands
- M - myometrium
(Stain - Haematoxylin Eosin) Scale bar = 1.0 cm.
- Embryo H710 estimated to be of 43 days GA (menstrual age).
- conceptus was embedded within the superficial layer of a highly secretory endometrium.
- uterine glands displayed the sawtooth appearance characteristic of the late secretory phase of the menstrual cycle and were filled with copius secretions.
