Neural Abnormal Exam - Newborn tone - upper extremity

This is a 3 weeks old infant. This is a 3 weeks old infant.
  • On passive range of motion of the upper extremities there is some tone, but the tone is significantly less than expected.
  • Shaking the hand back and forth demonstrates the decreased tone in the hand.
