Introduction
These are the current site templates used and in draft formats (see discussion page for each template to see variations). Templates are standard wiki pages whose content is designed to be transcluded (embedded) inside other pages. Templates follow a convention that the name is prefixed with "Template:", assigning it to that namespace; besides this, you can create them like any other wiki page.

Common Page Templates
- Template:Draft Page - standard place marker until text added to page.
- Template:Template Page - Header file for pages under development.
- Template:Pagemaker - use to copy and paste a page layout.
- Template:Educational Warning - added to pages where educational information can be potentially misused for other purposes.
- Template:Carnegie_stages- menu link to each Carnegie stage page.
- Template:Carnegie stage table = table of Carnegie stages with brief descriptions and links to stages.
- Template:External Links - disclaimer on loss of external links.
- Template:Editing Links - pages and tutorials to help new wiki contributors.
- Template:Glossary - menu link to glossary by letter.
- Template:Glossary comment - comment on sources of information for the UNSW glossary.
- Template:Footer - standard page footer for all site pages.
