Human Female Fibroblast line (47,XXX) XIST Expression

XIST expression in two cell nuclei using RNA FISH probes for the human XIST RNA (green) in the human female fibroblast line GM04626 (karyotype: 47,XXX). As there are 3 copies of the X chromosome in each cell, there are 2 inactive X chromosomes as shown by Xist staining.
