Arthur Tremain Hertig (1904-1990)

Prof Arthur Hertig, professor of pathology at Harvard Medical School, chairman of the school's Department of Pathology (1952 to 1968). Pathologist and researcher on human embryology. He also contributed to the development by others of the contraceptive pill and in vitro fertilization.
