Week 1 to 3

Introduction

This laboratory will look at the first 3 weeks of human development. The laboratory will also begin work on the group online project.

Objectives

  1. Understand development of the blastocyst.
  2. Understand normal and abnormal implantation.
  3. Understand the events of early placentation.
  4. Understand gastrulation and early germ layer development.
