The cartilages of the larynx

Posterior view.

The Cartilages of the Larynx (cartilagines laryngis) (Fig. 950) are nine in number, three single and three paired, as follows:

  • Thyroid.
  • Two Corniculate.
  • Cricoid.
  • Two Cuneiform.
  • Two Arytenoid.
