Sagittal sections from whole adult Japanese medaka

(Stain - Haematoxylin Eosin) staining of sagittal sections from whole adult Japanese medaka Oryzias latipes at 13 months old.

  • Bottom - male

Fish anterior is to the left. Spinal vertebrae are numbered. The rectangular box showing the vertebrae 15th–25th was used for both microCT scanning and histomorphometry.
