Caudal-Type Homeobox Transcription Factor 2 (Cdx2) - required for trophoblast development, yolk sac mesoderm vasculogenesis, allantoic growth, and chorioallantoic fusion. Homeodomain protein that can bind an A/T-rich sequence in the insulin promoter activating transcription.
