This article’s main objective is to examine the effect of a woman’s body mass index (BMI) on ovarian response to stimulation and the outcome of IVF. The findings showed that oocyte quality decreased with increasing BMI, resulting in reduced clinical pregnancy rate and thus impairment of IVF outcome. It was also shown that an increase in BMI does not affect ovarian response to stimulation.
