The Reference Handbook of the Medical Sciences was a USA based medical journal edited By Albert H. Buck, M.D. (New York City) and published by William Wood And Company in the late 1800's and early 1900's. The handbook described itself as "Embracing the entire range of Scientific and Practical Medicine and Allied Science - By Various Writers". Papers are listed alphabetically by subject/topic within the handbook volumes.
In particular it published some of the early works of Franklin Mall.
