22 Transverse section through the bla(lder, arnpullae, and seminal vesicles in a human fetus 276 mm. crown—rump length, estimated age 31 Weeks (series no. 7). This is the same specimen shown in text figure 8.

23 Transverse section through colliculus seminalis (veruinontanum) in the same specimen shown in figure 22. The terminal openings of the ejaculatory ducts can be seen. The prostatic utricle has a bifurcated opening, being a remnant of the two fused Mullerian duets.

24 to 27 Transverse sections through the seminal apparatus in a human fetus at birth, crown-rump length 338 min. (series no. 8). This is the same specimen shown in text figure 9. Figure 24 is through the main part of the vesicles. Figure 25 shows the junction of the left vesicle and ampulla, on the right side they have not yet united. In figure 26 is one of the sacculations of the left seminal vesicle under higher magnification, showing the trabeculae traversing its lumen. Figure 27 is a transverse section through the colliculus serninalis showing the bifurcated character of the prostatiu utricle and the openings of the ejaculatory ducts and the collicular glands.
