Vitamin D3.Synthesis

Vitamin D is produced in the skin from 7-dehydrocholesterol in a photoreaction induced by ultraviolet B (UVB) radiation from the sun.

1,25 (OH)2 vitamin D, biologically active form of vitamin D.
