Placenta - Umbilical Cord Torsion

Complete constriction of the umbilical cord approximately 7 cm from the fetal insertion (arrow) resulting in fetal death.

Gestational age GA 27 weeks - 1,115 g, a crown–rump length of 27 cm and a foot length of 5.5 cm.
