FIG. F . Horizon 16. Embryo No. 8773. 11 mm. 11-1-4. x 200. A localized ectodermal ridge and the subjacent marginal vein are evident.
FIG. G. Horizon 17. Embryo No. 8998. 11 mm. 13-1-1. x200. A prominent ectodermal ridge forms the margin of the foot plate.
FIG. H. Horizon 18. Embryo No. 9247. 15 mm. 16-2-2. x200. A thin ectodermal ridge can be identified near the marginal vein. A skeletal condensation is present in the centre of the illustration.
