Male Puberty - Testicular Volume Graph

Comparison of Testicular Volumes obtained by the formula and those published by 3 groups.

Illustration of the means ± SD of volumes obtained by ultrasound by Osemlak[6], Goede et al., Bahk et al., and the publication formula.

The formula (W-ss)3 x 0.64 is equivalent to the US equation W x H x L x 0.52.

width (W) without the scrotal skin (W-ss)
height (H) as a ratio of the width (H/(W-ss))
length (L)
