Text-Fig. 1. Reconstruction angioblastic strands and spaces in the chorionic mesoderm

A flat reconstruction (20 sections) of the angioblastic strands and spaces in an area of the chorionic mesoderm at the embryonic pole directly opposite the operculum of the Teacher-Bryce ovum No. 2. The reconstruction is equivalent to a View at right angles to the microscopic sections, or to a silhouette view through the chorionic membrane.
