Erythrocyte, Thrombocyte and T Lymphocyte

  • Left - red blood cell (erythrocyte, 7 µm in diameter[1]) about 5 x 109/ml of blood (5 thousand million cells in every millilitre of blood)
  • Centre - platelet (thrombocyte, a fragment of a blood cell the megakaryocyte)
  • Right - white blood cell (lymphocyte, a T-lymphocyte involved in immunity)
