Animation showing the development of the uterus (red) from the paramesonephric (Müllerian) ducts (red). The peripheral site of attachment to the urogenital sinus (yellow) is is described as the Müllerian tubercle.

--Mark Hill 16:42, 28 May 2011 (EST) Current research indicates the colour coding for vagina development is incorrectly shown here and it should also be identified (red) from the paramesonephric (Müllerian) ducts (red).
