Ectopic Tubal Pregnancy

Embryo implants and begins developing prematurely in the fallopian tube (uterine horn). Image shows surgically removed, formalin-fixed fallopian tube which has been opened to reveal human embryo and placenta. No age is given with the original image, based on external appearance this appears to be approximately Carnegie stage 17, Week 6, 42 - 44 days embryo CRL 0.95cm.
