Es sind schon Kiemenbogen erkennbar, wobei die Trennung des Mandibular- bogens in einen Ober- und Unterkieferfortsatz besonders deutlich hervortritt. Die Größe der Kiemenbogen nimmt vom ersten bis dritten ab. Die Stelle, wo das Auge später hervortritt, ist als eine kleine Erhebung kenntlich. Eine Linsen- platte ist noch nicht angelegt.
