This is a FISH (fluorescence in situ hybridization) analysis X chromosomes within a mosaic nucleus of XXY, XXXY, and XXXXY respectively. Each section (out of the three shown)illustrates a single nucleus. Within each nucleus the X chromosomes have been marked with a green fluoresent protein, allowing for their observation. As can be seen, the first nucleus is of standard Klinefelter's karyotype with two X chromosomes, and so on. These cells were isolated from a single patient expressing mosaic Klinefelter's syndrome.

Assessment
+ Research image is very relevant to group topic. +/- The legend does describe what is shown in the figure, but it is not an accurate description (what is the red fluorescence?) and therefore does not provide a complete element of peer teaching. - No assessment of citation included as reformatted by coordinator. Mark Hill 19:05, 1 October 2011 (EST) I have reformatted the citation. Please follow the methodology as I have advised you in class before. Please add a more complete description of the image above.
