Fileicon-pdf.png (120 × 120 pixels, file size: 5 KB, MIME type: image/png)
This is the icon used by the wiki to display a PDF file. You can also use this icon on your page as an obvious visual link for students.
Here is the code to generate an icon link.
[[File:Fileicon-pdf.png|link=File:your file name here.pdf]]
The icon link will appear as a 120x120 image and clicking the link will go to the PDF file, you then need to either click the displayed PDF icon or the file name appearing under the icon to open the document on the screen.
The PDF can then be downloaded from within the browser.
If you do not want your original PDF to be edited you will need to add this security before you upload the file to the wiki.
