Summary
Step 3 in rabbit cloning. Insert the diploid nucleus of the donor into the enucleated egg cell and fuse with pulses of electric current (electrofusion). The egg cell is now tricked into being diploid (like during fertilization when sperm and egg combine to form a zygote).
