A and B- Fetal adrenal gland of gestational weeks 24 and 36 shown by a transverse MRI. C and E- Show the right adrenal gland in (A) as a cross-section and Nissl-stained section respectively. D and F- Show the left adrenal gland in (B) as a cross-section and Nissl-stained section respectively. The arrowheads in A-F indicate that the cortical zona glomerulosa which contains more cells, thickens with GA.

This image is very good as it shows different views of fetal adrenal development. There should have been additional information with the figure in addition to the original legend. The image file though should have been adjusted (reduced) in size before uploading (2,054 × 2,259, 7.7 MB).
