Gall Bladder Structure
- Mucosal folds
- Rokintansky-Aschoff sinuses
Epithelium
- Columnar epithelium with microvilli (absorptive epithelium)
- Epithelium lining the biliary system does not contain mucus-producing cells (few located in neck of gall bladder)
Lamina Propria
Smooth Muscle Layer

Serosa/Adventitia
