Tubal Pregnancy
An Ectopic pregnancy occurs where the zygote implants outside of the uterine cavity. This occurs in 1-2% of pregnancies, 98% of which are tubal (implantation in the uterine (fallopian) tube). Figure 2 demonstrates other sites of ectopic implantation.
