  1. week 4 - forget inferior to transverse septum proliferates (expands).
  2. forms fusiform structure (Latin, spindle).
  3. week 5 - dorsal wall grows rapidly (greater curvature).
  4. bends tube ventrally (90 degrees)
  5. week 7 and 8 - dorsal mesentery growth
  6. rotates stomach laterally (90 degrees) greater curvature to left, lesser curvature to right
