A simple movie showing the histological appearance (H&E stain) of typical cells found in the adult blood.

Note the "internal ruler" a red blood cell (RBC) is about 7 microns in diameter (6-8 micron range).


Note - The cells within embryonic and fetal blood are mainly nucleated red blood cells, though some of these RBCs may also lack a nucleus.
