Mouse Ovary Postnatal Germ Cell
Introduction
These movies are from a 2014 study[1] showing folliculogenesis in the early postnatal primordial follicle during mammalian ovarian development. Oocyte cysts break down to liberate individual MI-arrested oocytes some of which form primordial follicles while others seemingly disappear.
