Introduction

A start page for exploring meetings that relate to embryological development. Many of these meetings are country specific or held by various societies, government and non-government bodies.

This is by no means a complete listing of current events. A listing entry is for information purposes only and does not suggest an endorsement.

"In order to prevent global environmental pollution and health damage caused by mercury, a new convention named "Minamata Convention on Mercury" was agreed at the fifth session of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee to prepare a global legally binding instrument on mercury (INC5) held in Geneva, Switzerland in January 2013. The Convention will be adopted and open for signature at the Conference of Plenipotentiaries (Diplomatic Conference) to be held in October in Japan."

    • It is estimated that 1.5 million individuals in the U.S. and tens of millions worldwide are affected by autism and that 1 in 110 children are diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorders each year.
