Introduction

This current website language is English, except for a few historic textbooks shown in their original language.

Rather than prepare individual translation pages, the external online Google Translator has been used in the collapsible table (click Expand to open) Header that appears at the top of each page on the website. Languages appear alphabetically, as they are written in English. Note that in some languages the text alignment is to the right, and may in the original language be read from top to bottom.

Disclaimer - these external translations are automated and may not be accurate.

You can also copy and paste any text into the Google Translator webpage to get alternative or additional translations. Note there are additional languages available on the transfer website.

Text within images will not be translated as this forms part of the image file itself. Note that mobile platforms (phones and tablets) have the additional option of Apps using text recognition through the in-built camera to translate any text appearing within images or on the screen of another device. The links below will translate this current page and show in English in the same order as the languages listed within the header. I have also included in each language a link back to the main page translation.

"Translation" in Biology
Note that the term "translation" is also used in biology to describe the process in the cell cytoplasm of turning messenger RNA code into a protein amino acid sequence, part of the process in gene expression (DNA -> RNA -> Protein).
