Heart Abnormality - Transposition of the Great Vessels

  • 0 - 11% of Congenital Heart Disease
  • Aorta arises from the right ventricle (RV) with the pulmonary trunk arising from the left.
  • Most common cause of cyanotic heart disease in newborns; surgically corrected.
