A fold similar to that of the visceral mesoblast (Fig. 545) has also been formed by the parietal mesoblast. The dorsal body wall, middle plate, is formed by the two folds. The former angle is again marked by the attachment of the primitive segment stalk. A strong ramus intestinalis from the aorta on the left side of the figure (right side of the embryo).
