James Playfair McMurrich

Professor James Playfair McMurrich (1859 – 1939)


  • 1894 - 1907 Professor of Anatomy, Medicine, University of Michigan
  • Professor Of Anatomy In The University Of Toronto

In 1915 he provided to James Watt twin human embryos with 17-19 paired somites, making these embryos Carnegie stage 11, for description in his paper.
