Summary
Step 1 in rabbit cloning. Obtain a somatic cell from the rabbit to be cloned (donor rabbit) and isolate it's diploid nucleus. The diploid nucleus contains the full (paired) set of chromosomes found in all dividing cells of the rabbit's body (except sex cells).
