Time-lapse OCT sequence through a transverse section of the right lateral aortic arch at stage 21.

The movie is obtained in vivo with no embryonic intervention and during the regular cardiac cycle of the beating ventricle.

  • Aortic arch III and IV are visible, where aortic arch IV is towards the left.
  • Aortic arch II can also be seen furthest to the right, within the large pharyngeal arch 2.

Cranial is toward the right and dorsal is into the page.

Original Frame dimension was 1.5×1.5 mm. (cropped video is still 1.5mm wide)
