I would be interested in looking at the brain or the gut

We could look into development of the cerebral cortex. Here is a link with an overview and how all 6 layers of the cortex originate from radial glial cells that migrate and differentiate into their perspective layers. http://www.hhmi.org/biointeractive/development-cerebral-cortex
