The pronuclear (PN) material appears to be highly hydrated, although zonally condensed in patchy aggregates. Nucleoli (n) and intrapronuclear annulate lamellae (ial) are evident. Note the numerous organelles which populate the cytoplasm adjacent to the pronuclei. g, Golgi complex. X 5,400.
