10 to 12 are from photographs through the doferent ducts and seminal vesicles in a human fetus 105 mm. crown-rump length, estimated age 14 weeks (Carnegie Collection, 110. 1358e). A graphic reconstruction of these structures in the same fetus is shown in text figure 4. In figure 10 the left deferent duct is cut obliquely, so that its lumen is traversed twice. Figure 12 is an enlarged View of the same seminal vesicle represented in figure 11 and shows the first saeculations of the lumen of the vesicle.

13 Transverse section through the deferent ducts and seminal vesicles in 9,, human fetu 130 mm. crown-rump length, estimated age 16 weeks (Carnegie Colleetion, no. 1018). This is the same specimen shown in text figure 5.

14 and 15 Transverse sections taken at different levels through the deferent ducts and seminal vesicles in a human fetus 171 mm. crown-rump length, estimated age 19 weeks (Carnegie Collection, no. 1049). This is the same fetus shown in text-figure 6. In figure 15 it will be noted that the left ampulla is saeeulated.
