Die sekundäre Augenblase ist etwas von vorn und von unten gesehen, samt dem Augenblasenstiel (= später Opticus). In der Tiefe der Bechergrube (vergl. Fig. 701) befindet sich das Linsenbläschen. Die mediale Grenze des letzteren ist durch eine punktierte Bogenlinie bezeichnet. Vom unteren Rande der Einsenkung erstreckt sich die fetale Augenspalte dem Augenblasenstiel ent- lang. Zuerst ist sie schmal um später breiter zu werden. Das Hirnbläschen, von dem der Augenstiel ausgeht, ist das Zwischenhirn (Diencephalon).
